Our highly skilled tradespeople, based in our workshop in Sighthill, manufacture bespoke sash and case windows, shutters and doors to suit clients’ properties.

Our products are made to historic standards using traditional mortise and tenon joinery, allowing us to combine high-quality modern materials with tried and tested methods.

Thanks so much to the whole team at Edinburgh Sash and Case for installing 8 beautiful new double glazed window units, refurbishing a tricky curved bay window, and crafting one set of double glazed french doors. Danielle was responsive and helpful throughout the process, from our initial enquiry, through the planning phase and the install itself. The joiners James, Jordan and Jack were friendly, informative, efficient, clean and professional. There have been some inevitable teething issues as the windows have settled in, and the team has been very responsive in solving these right away. The french doors were expertly made and installed by Adam, and they are really beautifully crafted. Gary & Steve from Almond Decorators finished the job with a lot of care: they were considerate, clean and highly skilled. We would really recommend both Edinburgh Sash and Case and Almond Decorators.

Very expensive Fineo glazing not recommended: no perceived noise reduction (main concern), jury out about thermal properties (even without previous trickle vents), condensation sometimes evident although better. Disappointing explanation re noise/heat ie Fineo has triple glazing properties but wooden frames do not! The dots do not bother me though.Lengthy process including Council permission (June - March). It left a bad taste to be chased for final payment (approx ⅛ of total value) with workshop damaged window still to be fitted - all my other invoices had been settled promptly so no history of delay. However, Double glazing meets expectation, James and Jordan (joiners) very good and Gary/Derek of Almond Decorators recommended.

We had 12 single glazed sliding sash windows of 5 different styles replaced with doubled glazed copies. We are delighted with the end result. All the team from Edinburgh Sash and Case were excellent timely, tidy ,friendly and professional.

Getting your windows done is a daunting and expensive process, but Edinburgh Sash and Case did a great job meeting our requirements. We kept the original box which introduced some challenges but in the end there's a remarkable difference from what we had before with the new sashes and double glazing. Danielle did an amazing coordination effort throughout, James and Jordan were a good laugh and very helpful throughout, and Almond Decorators came in after to paint a clean, beautiful set of windows we're now very proud of!

We got 3 windows in our flat replaced by Edinburgh Sash and Case. The process was smooth throughout and we felt well advised about our options during the consultation. Jack, the joiner, who fitted our windows was very polite and respectful, he covered all our furniture and left everything tidy. He fitted the windows so well and we absolutely love them. Zsolt, the painter, also did a great job with amazing attention to detail. We would definitely choose Edinburgh Sash and Case again
